Located in northern Taiwan, Taipei is the political, economic, financial, and cultural center of the island. It has thriving arts and academic scene and countless modern commercial buildings. Besides the friendly, welcoming nature of Taiwan’s inhabitants, the high level of development created by Taiwan’s economics make Taipei a cosmopolitan city that brings together the traditional and the new. Museums houses the world’s finest collection of art; beautiful temples are the setting for colorful folk festivals. Taipei offers bustling night markets, the 101 tower and streets lined with shops selling brand name products. All together I spend three months in Taiwan and every time I find something new to eat something new to see, something new to experience.

Country I lived for quite a long time. Many states visited, lived in few major city’s and traveled most national parks. Like every country it has good and bad. In this mythical land, still mostly unknown by outsiders, ancient cities surrounded by legendary history and rich, lush nature lays on display. It’s like you turn back time here, authentic Asian country where no ATM’s, 7-Eleven’s or McDonalds still exists and where holly men are more respected than movie stars. Even in major city’s random hours of electrical power, you will rarely see person with cell phone and that what makes it one of my favorite asian destinations.
