Sri Lanka is a tiny tear drop shaped island in the Indian Ocean. It is the essence of South Asia, with a tropical climate, lush green forests and rich history. You can find the attractions of neighboring India and Maldives in this land which is a hundred times smaller than India. People are friendly here, distances between tourist destinations are short, just one thing is the ticket price for what you get in tourist spots really cost more than other Asian countries. After 3 weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka I collected some portraits of local people.
